Married At First Sight intruder bride Juliette Chae’s plot to ‘villainise’ her husband Joel at Wednesday night’s dinner party spectacularly backfired this week after footage of her colluding with a producer was leaked.
The 27-year-old told the producer she was fed up with Joel and planned to work hard to portray him as the ‘villain’ in their relationship in the hopes of turning her co-stars against him.
However, her sneaky plot didn’t go to plan after her hot-mic moment aired during Stan’s After the Dinner Party special on Wednesday night.
‘Bro, I’m now f***ing pi**ed off. I’m pi**d off. He’s never spoken to a woman in his life before, besides his mother. He’s now trying to like pin me up into being the villain,’ Juliette vented to the producer.
Juliette made the remarks in response to Joel’s attempts to get her to participate in an intimacy challenge, to which she refused, claiming she didn’t want to gaze into his ‘devil eyes’.
‘I’m gonna f***ing villainise him. I’ll turn the whole entire group against him. I’m like actually pi**ed off. Very, very angry,’ she added.

However, Juliette didn’t realise her microphone was on, meaning her entire conversation was recorded and later screened to her co-stars at the dinner party.
‘I am absolutely disgusted with this behaviour,’ series expert John Aiken said after watching the footage, while Mel Schilling added: ‘Oh my God. Did she just say that? So disrespectful.’
Meanwhile, Juliette’s fellow brides and grooms also turned on her, appalled by her behaviour.
It comes after Juliette left her husband Joel Moses red-faced over his love for his teddy bear during Wednesday’s dinner party.
The group was left in shock as the 27-year-old recounted how she had once tucked Joel, 31, into bed alongside his beloved stuffed toy on their honeymoon.
Juliette lashed out at her husband, calling him a ‘loser’, saying he had ‘devil eyes’ and insisted his appearance on the show was ‘a performance’.
Joel tried to remain calm as some of the group turned on him over his teddy, including Gia Fleur.
‘I would have cut its head off,’ the controversial bride said.

Turning to an embarrassed Joel, Gia asked, ‘Do you think having a teddy is manly?’
‘She allowed that [teddy] on the honeymoon, grow up, you are in your 30s…and for a woman to respect a man, it requires a masculine energy…’
The comment was Juliette’s opportunity to vent her frustration over her unravelling relationship.
‘What we are trying to say is, I’m not married to a man,’ she said.
Still, others in the experiment were more shocked by Juliette’s attack on Joel during the evening than by any ‘teddy bear confession’.
‘Is that the worst thing in the world for a guy to have, a teddy?’ Rachel Gilmore said in a debrief interview.
‘You’re [Juliette] bringing it up to bring a guy down.’
Fellow bride Alissa Fay agreed, adding: ‘Everyone has their thing, I don’t care about the teddy.’
After reading the room, Juliette turned on Joel, revealing that the teddy was the least of her concerns.
‘I don’t have a problem with the teddy, I have a problem with Joel,’ she said.
‘I prefer the teddy to Joel. The teddy is not a c*** to me like Joel is. I’ve put up with two weeks of this s**t.’
The teddy drama was one of many humiliations inflicted on Joel during an explosive dinner party that saw the quirky groom called a ‘liar’ and ‘so cringey’ by his bride.
