Actress Melora Hardin is looking back on a pesky costar from the 90s.
The 58-year-old The Office star briefly appeared on an ABC show called Equal Justice alongside Sarah Jessica Parker, 60.
During one episode there was a monkey involved, and Hardin suffered a bite from the animal.
‘I had actually done something with Sarah Jessica Parker, where I also had to deal with a monkey, and the monkey bit me on that one,’ she told Entertainment Weekly.
She recalled, ‘It didn’t make me bleed, but it definitely cut my skin. It could have been worse, but those monkeys, it was the same kind of monkey [as one she appeared with on Friends].’
Hardin explained, ‘Those monkeys are just so high-strung. They’re just really hyper kind of animals. They’re really highly anxious.’

On a Friends episode, she worked with a monkey named Marcel, who she said also sunk its teeth into her.
‘It was a similar thing. He just was jumping around in the scene and he just decided to bite me,’ the actress detailed.
Parker played law school graduate Jo Ann Harris on Equal Justice, which was on air from 1990-1991.
Hardin was a guest star on season two, playing a character named Doris.
She said of the monkey bite, ‘I love animals, and I’m okay with them. I mean, if today that happened to an actress, I don’t know, would they sue? Oh, God!’
In retrospect, the Hollywood vet said, ‘I’m fine. You know? We put a Band-Aid on it, and then we did it again.’
Hardin’s other early jobs include the CBS series Dirty Dancing, the Clint Eastwood thriller Absolute Power, and The Office.
More recently she starred on Netflix drama The Bold Type, Clock, and Mr. Monk’s Last Case: A Monk Movie.

On Thursday, New Year’s Day, the entertainer took to Instagram to share outtakes from her New Year’s Eve celebration.
Posting to the app’s Stories feature, she posed alongside husband Gildart Jackson, whom she wed in 1997.
Engaging her 326,000 followers, she wrote, ‘Happy New Year,’ and added a white heart emoji.
A second post was a video of the star showing off her low-cut, black party dress and dancing to the 2001 song Where The Party At by R&B group Jagged Edge.
Hardin and Jackson are parents to daughters Rory Jackson, 24, and Piper Jackson, 21.
