Meanwhile, shortly after Henderson was made godmother to Otto, Sandilands was asked to be her daughter Kitty’s godfather, 11 years after she was born.
‘I was made the godfather of Kitty over the weekend,’ Sandilands proudly said on The Kyle and Jackie O show back in June 2022.
‘It happened while I was talking to Kitty about godchildren and I told her I had been trying to be her godfather her whole life. She asked me “Well you are my godfather aren’t you?” and I was lost for words,’ he explained.
Henderson then asked her daughter if she wanted the shock jock to be her godfather and she said yes.
‘So I asked Kyle if he would be Kitty’s godfather,’ she revealed.
Following the news of the end of the pair’s professional relationship, fans urged Sandilands to make up with his former co-host for the sake of their friendship and families.

Others laid the blame for the blow-up on Sandilands, who expressed ‘regret’ over the fiery on-air clash last week.

The Kyle and Jackie O Show came to an end on Tuesday after over 20 years on-air.
KIIS FM’s parent company ARN announced on Tuesday that Henderson’s $100 million contract has been terminated after she told executives she ‘cannot continue to work with Mr Kyle Sandilands’ following his harsh comments on-air that left her in tears.
Sandilands has been suspended and given 14 days to ‘remedy’ the breach, or else faces termination.
ARN provided written notice to Sandilands stating that it considers his behaviour during the show on February 20 ‘an act of serious misconduct which is in breach of ARN’s services agreement with Quasar Media’.
The KIIS breakfast show was taken off-air immediately, with ‘interim arrangements made for the show’.
ARN has offered Henderson the possibility of an alternative show on the network.
Daily Mail has reached out to Henderson and Sandilands for comment.
Sandilands and Henderson signed a 10-year deal with Australian Radio Network (ARN) in 2023, and have eight years left on the contract.
