Married At First Sight star Rebecca Fenney has proved her romance with her Welsh girlfriend is stronger than ever as she shared snaps of their trip to Barry Island on Instagram on Sunday.

The beauty clinic owner, 32, went Instagram official with Liverpool footballer Lily Woodham, 25, earlier this month with a slew of loved-up posts after her split from TV Groom Bailey Smith.

And now, just weeks after embarking in her same-sex relationship, she appears smitten as they enjoyed a trip to Barry Island in Wales.

In her series of snaps, Rebecca can be seen enjoying some of the local sights and exploring the island’s Gavin and Stacey tourist attractions.

As they posed for snaps alongside their friends, Rebecca wrote: ‘What an absolutely gorgeous day in Barrybados..’

Rebecca and Bailey were considered the show’s ‘strongest couple’ during this year’s series before revealing they had called time on their relationship in the months after filming wrapped.

But having well and truly moved on, Rebecca shared a sweet clip of herself and Lily from weeks ago singing together in the back of the car, alongside a caption that appeared to suggest this was her first same-sex relationship.

It read: ‘In your 30s a girl will come into your life when you least expect it. ‘You’ll question everything you’ve ever known about yourself… who you are, what you are, how this feels so right????’

Before adding: ‘It’s important you don’t try and fight it, let love in’.

She later posted snaps of the couple as she branded Lily her ‘new love’ who she described as a ‘5ft 4′ alpha’.

Her former MAFS UK co-stars were quick to share their congratulations, with Leisha Lightbody gushing: ‘Yesss my girl your glowing’.

While Ella Morgan added: ‘Omg I’m obsessed with this!!! So happy for you! I think I need to join the club’.

Last month, Bailey took to social media to reveal the news, telling fans he was ‘heartbroken’ by his split from Rebecca.

In a lengthy statement, the dad-of-one penned: ‘Unfortunately it’s time to share that Bec and I are no longer together…

‘We tried our best to navigate life after the experiment, and although we spent a lot of great time together on the outside, unfortunately, the relationship came to an end.

‘I still have a lot of love for Bec and I’m grateful for the amazing relationship we shared. I had fallen for Bec completely and it really was a true love story.

‘I won’t lie, watching us fall in love all over again on screen has been ridiculously hard to go through and it’s something I’m still struggling with now.

‘But I wouldn’t have changed any of it!’
