A cavalcade of boldface names from the music industry flooded into the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles for the exalted awards show.
Cyndi Lauper is among the industry legends being added to the ranks of the Hall of Fame, as well as OutKast, the White Stripes, Soundgarden and more.
The glittering lineup of performers ranges from longtime icons like Elton John, Iggy Pop and Missy Elliott to newer faces like Olivia Rodrigo and Doja Cat.
On the red carpet Chappell, 27, who is inducting Cyndi, 72, modeled a head-turning outfit inspired by the older artist’s 1986 music video for True Colors – a song Chappell once sang as a child at an unsuccessful audition for America’s Got Talent.
Meanwhile Taylor put on a sizzling display by wearing no bra underneath her see-through black lace frock, which fell to flatter her enviably willowy frame.
