Abbie Chatfield learned an invaluable lesson about posting on social media this week.
The podcast host, 30, took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal she had committed quite the faux pas in an innocuous video shared to TikTok.
In the video, Abbie was showing off one of her large artworks, which she proudly displayed for the camera.
Her demeanour quickly changed, however, when she realised that she had forgotten to put on pants before hitting record.
In the clip, Abbie can be seen hurriedly walking around her living room, wearing a G-string and a sleeveless spotted blue top.
After realising her ’embarrassing’ error, Abbie said that she immediately removed the offending video.

However, never one to take herself too seriously, Abbie reuploaded the ‘pants-less’ moment to Instagram and TikTok to highlight her faux pas.
‘I can’t believe I committed the influencer cardinal sin and uploaded a f***ing video without editing out the end,’ she said in the clip, adding the caption: ‘I’m so embarrassed hahahahaha.’
Reliving the moment along with her followers, Abbie watched on in embarrassed horror as she watched herself in her undies.
‘I’m in my undies. Oh my god,’ she exclaimed. ‘I had to pull it [the video] down. Undies. Undies. In my G-string.’
Captioning the clip, Abbie said it even took her 709,000 TikTok followers a while to spot her cheeky display.
‘I uploaded this to TikTok and it took 20 minutes for anyone to say anything. Hahahahahaha,’ she wrote.
She further illustrated her embarrassment by adding the Charli XCX track House, which features the line: ‘I think I’m gonna die in this house.’
Abbie didn’t have to worry though, with followers flocking to the comments to praise her self-effacing approach to the ordeal.

‘I wouldn’t be mortified if I looked that fab!!’
Another added a similar: ‘The ability to laugh at oneself shows a lot of humility and whimsy!’
Fellow influencer Brittany Saunders chimed in with a simple: ‘HAHAHAHAHA,’ to which Abbie replied: ‘pls tell me you’ve done this at least once in your long career hahahahaha’
Married At First Sight star Jacqui Burfoot sympathised with Abbie, admitting to often committing similar faux pas on social media.
‘Babe I regularly offer up a nip slip because I don’t proof check either,’ Jacqui wrote.
‘People are like: “Why?” I’m like: “I’m too busy to check this god dammit! Luckily my ladies are onto it within seconds!!’
