Celebrity Traitors has been the biggest hit of the year so far – and now it has been revealed which of our favourite stars have the biggest pay packet.

It may come as no surprise that the two highest earners have also been mainstays on our telly for over a decade as funnymen and presenters.

Jonathan Ross’s production firms recently filed accounts with Companies House.

BFQ Ltd has £768,607 in reserves, while Hot Sauce T.V. Ltd has £693,398, making a combined £1,462,005 in reserves.

They paid approximately £181.5k in corporation tax, at a 25 per cent rate, suggesting an overall profit for the year of £726k.

Meanwhile, Alan Carr’s UK firms have been dissolved, but 12 years ago, he signed a two-year contract worth £4 million with Channel 4, so it’s safe to assume that his overall net worth would now be worth upwards of £20 million.

BAFTA-winning Historian David Olusoga may not be as well known as some of his compatriots on the BBC show, but he’s proven to be as financially astute as he is knowing about the past.

His firm OP Words and Pictures Ltd is now worth a huge £1,161,316.

It paid £26,214 in tax last year, suggesting profits of over £100,000.

Another one who may not have been known by everyone is musician Cat Burns, who has been tipped to win the show.

The Brit nominee has impressed all contestants on the show – and her bank balance is equally impressive.

She has two music-related firms, CB Collaborations Ltd, accounts reveal an overall profit of £237,817.

Meanwhile, Homegrown Live Ltd is showing a profit of £192,790. Combining the two, gives a very healthy profit of £430,607 for the last year.

Comedian and actor Nick Mohammed’s Riddikulus Ltd may have a silly sounding name – but serious when it comes to making money.

It has £843,338 in equity, which includes a whopping £655,568 ‘cash in the bank’. It paid £32,506 in corporation tax last year, suggesting profit of £130k.

Meanwhile former rugby union player Joe Marler is still raking in the cash despite retiring from the sport last November.

Joe Marler Ltd has reserves of £746,490 last year, up from £594,100 in 2023, so the firm increased its equity by £152,390 in the last 12 months.

Last but not least is the actress Celia Imrie, who is now equally as famous for her impromptu fart on the show.

She’s never been a director of a UK company, but has starred in countless top films such as Calendar Girls and the Bridget Jones series.

Meanwhile, Alan Carr's UK firms have been dissolved, but 12 years ago, he signed a two-year contract worth £4 million with Channel 4, so it's safe to assume that his overall net worth would now be worth upwards of £20 million

Even if she was earning a tenth of the amount of the leading stars in these hit movies, Celia would have a fortune of over £5million after 50 years in showbiz.

On Thursday night, Claudia, 53, will oversee the action as the final five celebrities try to uncover the Traitors and oust them before the prize money is given out.

While viewers had been gearing up for a dramatic conclusion, some feel that the outcome of the BBC One series is now ‘obvious’.

Last week, rugby star Joe, 35, was seen setting his sights on Alan and Cat, 25, after the latest round table which saw Kate Garraway given the boot.

The final five were gathered around the fire pit by Claudia, who asked them to pledge their faithfulness to each other by looking at each other in the eyes and repeating, ‘I am a Faithful’.

But things didn’t go well for Alan who, after having a target set on his back, burst out laughing as he attempted to say the phrase.

And fans think its obvious that it spells the end for the Traitors duo –  not just due to Alan’s mistake, but because Kate’s banishment leaves Cat the last woman standing.

Viewers felt it was obvious that host Claudia would have chosen a female Traitor at the start of the show for balance and, with Cat the last woman standing, put herself in the firing line.

One penned: ‘It seems really silly to me that Cat voted Kate out – purely on the basis that there have been no recruitments, and only one (male) traitor banished.

‘Anyone thinking about production would realise that they would have picked at least one female traitor- and she’s now the only female left!’

Another agreed: ‘I would say that it’s highly likely, rather than obvious, as we have had single gender Traitors teams in the past.’

While a third added: ‘This may be what Joe and/or Nick has picked up on, but it has not explicitly come up in any of the discussions that we have seen.’

A fourth continued: ‘They’ve all been so obsessed with the ‘Big Dogs’ that she might not have been thinking about whether they’d be thinking there would likely be at least one woman as a Traitor.’

‘Cat is also in trouble on the age front – it is likely production would have wanted a young traitor to attract a younger demographic,’ wrote a fifth, as a sixth concluded: ‘Cat is kind of screwed now.

‘There’s no way the others won’t figure out there has to be at least one female traitor.

‘I wonder if it was actually tactical to banish Kate because they were less sure she was a Traitor than Cat, and they knew there had to be at least one woman but potentially two.’

While Joe firmly set his sights on the pair after watching Alan burst out laughing at the fire pit, telling the cameras: ‘It’s just another confirmation of what I’m thinking already about Alan.

‘He can’t even look us in the eyes and say ‘I’m a faithful’. If that’s not a red flag, I don’t know what is.’

The Celebrity Traitors concludes Thursday at 9pm on BBC One and will stream on iPlayer.
