Police Media Spokesman, SSP Buddhika Manatunga yesterday said that arrangements were currently underway to bring back to Sri Lanka more than 20 underworld gang leaders living in Dubai, India, and Canada.
He said so after announcing that Lathuwahandi Sujeewa Ruwan Kumara Silva, alias ‘Loku Patty,’ a notorious criminal, had been brought back to Sri Lanka yesterday (04).
He said Loku Patty was the 11th criminal to be extradited to Sri Lanka during the past seven months.
Loku Patty is a key suspect in the murder of ‘Club Wasantha’ and another individual in Athurugiriya.
