Selena Gomez put on a radiant display in an eye-catching look as she attended the 2025 Rare Impact Fund Benefit in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old actress, who recently marked one month of being married to Benny Blanco, joined other guests on the red carpet at the event which was hosted by late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.
It comes shortly after an alleged brand model for the singer’s Rare Beauty brand blasted Gomez over her ‘degrading’ comments during a recent keynote speech.
The former Disney channel star turned heads upon arriving to the festivities wearing a fitted purple minidress that was held up with thin straps.
She layered the look with matching fabric that draped down her arms and flowed down to brush the ground.
Gomez slipped into a pair of closed-toed, purple pumps to coincide with the color scheme of the ensemble for the special evening.

Her short dark locks were parted in the middle and fell down into light curls that nearly brushed the tips of her shoulders.
The Wolves songstress accessorized the dress with a pair of dangly silver earrings as well as a flashy ring on her right hand.
The star’s makeup comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes as well as a light shadow around her eyes.
A warm blush and contour was added to better accentuate her cheekbones while a nude-colored matte tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.
Gomez held a big smile on her face as she arrived to the venue and showcased her stylish look during a brief photo session.
At one point, the actress crossed paths with Elyse Cohen – the president of the Rare Impact Fund, which the star founded back in 2020.
The annual benefit ‘aims to raise awareness and funds in support of youth mental health globally,’ per the official website.
Kimmel took on the role of host during the festivities with The Marias performing as the musical guest.

‘This night is a celebration of how far we’ve come and a powerful reminder of how much more we can do together,’ Gomez expressed in a statement, per The Hollywood Reporter.
‘I’m incredibly grateful to Jimmy and The Marias for joining me in shining a light on youth mental health.’
The star added, ‘Their support means the world – not just to me, but to millions of young people this work touches around the globe.’
Gomez’s appearance at the event on Wednesday comes after she was slammed by one of her alleged models for making ‘degrading’ comments about them in a recent keynote speech.
The actress recently told audiences that her billion-dollar brand Rare Beauty does not ‘use real models’ for its beauty campaigns.
Speaking to Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington D.C. last week, she said: ‘I want the conversation to change. If anything, we will double down on what we mean.
‘We don’t use models. We use people who I have felt they can be your best friend. I want something real.’
While Gomez’s comments appeared well-intentioned, her remarks left one model, who claimed to The US Sun that she had worked for the A-lister’s brand since 2024, particularly upset.

Speaking to the publication, the model, who asked to remain anonymous, claimed she cried at the comments.
‘I was already having a bad day and was feeling really sensitive and emotional,’ she said.
She continued: ‘I was feeling nervous about some career stuff, and then I saw that video of her saying I’m not even a real model.
‘It hit me at the worst time because now I’m like… “What am I even doing?”
‘I thought this would be a big break for me, and to be told by the founder of the company that I look up to that I am not “real” at my job?
‘It’s degrading and embarrassing. The number of family and friends who sent me that clip after was mortifying.’
The model further claimed to the publication that she has never met Gomez and does not want to in the future.
She added: ‘I hope in the future she chooses her words more wisely and remembers how much influence she has.’
The Daily Mail has contacted Gomez for comment. Because the model was not identified by US Sun, the Daily Mail could not verify if she worked for Gomez.

Gomez founded Rare Beauty in 2019 before launching it in North America in 2020.
In 2022, Bloomberg reported the company sold around $70 million in just the blush category alone.
Rare Beauty boldly states that it is breaking down unrealistic standards of perfection.
‘Being rare is about being comfortable with yourself,’ Gomez said on her brand’s website. ‘I’ve stopped trying to be perfect. I just want to be me.’
