Conor Benn is reportedly in talks to join the 2025 I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! line-up, 23-years after his father and fellow boxer Nigel’s stint in camp.

The former world champion, 29, could enter the jungle just days after his rematch with rival Chris Eubank Jnr, 36, set to take place in London on November 15.

The duo will take to the ring at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, after  Eubank Jr won the brutal, brilliant first encounter on April and bagged a £10million prize after taking the 12-rounder by unanimous decision

Despite the series being set to launch soon after the bout, ITV bosses are said to working hard to sign the buff boxer who they believe would be a hit with viewers.

A source said: ‘The logistics are a challenge given how close the match is to the start of the jungle but ITV and Conor are keen to make this happen if they can.’

‘Conor’s profile has soared due to the intense rivalry between him and Chris Eubank Jr. Obviously, Conor’s main priority is the fight. But with his great physique, he is also likely to provide the show with this year’s male pin-up.

A source told The Sun: ‘I’m A Celeb bosses think he’ll make a great addition to the camp. One option is that he goes in as a late entry.’

Daily Mail have contacted Conor Benn’s representatives for comment.

Meanwhile a show spokesperson said ‘Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here are just speculation’

During his 2002 stint in the Jungle Nigel, 61, was accused of being homophobic amid a furious row with eventual winner Rhona Cameron, 60.

After he criticised the comedian, who is gay, for ‘constant moaning’ she hit back: ‘Why don’t you go and read your Bible? Actually why don’t you f*** off and leave?’

To which a furious Nigel replied: ‘You’re lucky you’re not a man or I’d knock you, sparko.’

Meanwhile TV icon Ruby Wax is also said to be lined up to take part in the next series of the ITV show.

The actress and comedian, 72, is thought to be in advanced talks with ITV ahead of flying out to Australia for the new series which starts next month.

Ruby found fame on ITV sitcom Girls On Top in 1985 and went on to be an interviewer on shows such as the BBC’s Ruby Wax Meets.

A source told The Sun of her being lined up for the show: ‘Ruby’s a proper TV legend and adds real gravitas to this year’s line-up.

‘She’s interviewed some of the biggest stars in the world so will have no problem getting to know her fellow campmates.

‘It will make great TV for viewers.’

A show spokesperson told the Daily Mail: ‘Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here are just speculation.’

It comes after last week Christine McGuinness risked the wrath of ITV bosses after exclusively confirming to the Daily Mail that she will appear in the upcoming series – just weeks after quitting Celebs Go Dating.

Despite strict secrecy around the star-studded campmates the TV personality, 37, said she’d finally signed up for the show after years of being asked in a ‘f*** it’ moment as she embraces a new chapter following her split from husband Paddy, 52.

Christine let the cat out of the bag at last Monday’s Pride of Britain Awards and hinted that due to her fear of heights she may be a latecomer into camp in order to avoid the launch show’s iconic parachute jump.

She said: ‘In the past I am never away from my children, I’d be frightened of the creepy crawlies.

‘I have sensory issues I have never been outside Europe so flying over there would be quite a challenge, but I’ve got a bit of ‘f*** it’.

‘Trying to get over to the jungle might be a bit of a mission, but this year is the year I have been most like ‘f*** it, why not’.

Christine, who was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD in 2020, said that her children, who are also autistic, were now older and used to her being away from home and as the family still lived together, Paddy would be there for them in her absence.
