Clint Stanaway has revealed he is expecting his first child, whom he will co-parent with his ‘good friend’ Eliza Paschke.
The Nova radio presenter, 43, announced the shock news during Nova 100’s Jase, Lauren & Clint breakfast radio show on Friday morning, just hours after The Block star Eliza, 40, revealed she was pregnant.
‘I’m going to be having a baby with a really good friend of mine, her name’s Eliza, and we’re going to be using a co-parenting model to have this child,’ he said.
‘We’re going to have a different looking family, but a family that is not going to have any shortage of love in it.’
Clint added that he ‘almost passed out’ when he saw the baby’s first scan.
‘I was so overwhelmed in that moment … Hearing the heartbeat … It took my breath away, it really did,’ he continued, before tearing up, ‘and I can’t wait for you to meet my little boy or girl.’

Clint was met with a roar of cheers and well wishes from his co-hosts in the studio.
‘Oh, I’m so excited for you,’ Lauren Phillips said.
‘Good on you, Clint. We love you. Congratulations, it’s so cool,’ Jason Hawkins added.
On Thursday, Eliza posted a sonogram image of her little one on Instagram, sharing that she is 16 weeks pregnant.
‘Becoming a Mum is something I’ve always thought about and openly discussed,’ the 40-year-old wrote in her caption.
‘Today I’m 16 weeks pregnant, and feeling immensely grateful to be in this position.’
In her post, she did not disclose that Clint was the father.
‘I know there will be lots of questions, which I’ll answer over time,’ she added.

The former reality star decided to freeze her eggs at the age of 32.
‘I was single with no assets to my name and had saved up just enough money for an overseas holiday,’ she told nine.com.au in 2024.
‘Instead of going on that holiday, I made a $10,000 investment in my future,’ Eliza continued.
‘I’m not sure if I want children but I guess it gives me a bit of a security blanket for potentially having a child if I want to later in life,’ Paschke said in a video at the time.
‘I am single, so you have to think about these things a little bit.’
Eliza previously confessed that she had never been in love.
In a column for 9Honey in 2024, Eliza admitted she doesn’t like being asked whether she is still single but is questioned about her relationship status at least ‘once a day.’
‘Other variations include, ‘Are you off the market yet?’ and ‘Have you found a man yet?’ or ‘How are you still single?’,’ the fan favourite said.

She also said at the time that people are often left ‘horrified’ that she is ’38 and not in a relationship.’
While admitting that most who ask the question probably mean well, Eliza confessed she found hearing the query so often ‘painstaking, patronising and tiresome’.
However, Eliza admitted to dealing with the irritating and invasive question with a sense of humour.
‘I often find myself joking in response, about how I’m a spinster who will be 90 and alone with nine cats,’ she said.
