Shannon Elizabeth has finalized her divorce from Simon Borchert, nearly one month after she filed on April 14.
The 52-year-old American Pie actress – who has launched a lucrative OnlyFans account – and Borchert separated in September 2025 after marrying in 2021.
‘Today isn’t about the end of a marriage,’ she told Page Six on Monday. ‘There are moments in life when you realize that letting go can be exhilarating, that closing one chapter creates space for an entirely new one, and stepping into that feels incredibly liberating.’
She declared, ‘I’m embracing what comes next with a full heart and a renewed sense of purpose. I’ve never felt more inspired, more creative or more connected to who I truly am.’
Elizabeth joined the subscription-based platform OnlyFans on April 16 and earned a staggering $1.2 million in her first week.
‘I’m excited to be stepping back into development and conversations around new projects in Hollywood while also continuing to use my OnlyFans page as a space where I can genuinely connect with fans in a more personal and authentic way,’ she told the outlet.

The star noted, ‘Between entertainment, digital content and the work of the Shannon Elizabeth Foundation – which will always be closest to my heart – I honestly feel more energized about the future than ever before.
‘Sometimes, the hardest transitions lead you exactly where you were meant to go.’
The screen siren explained that it took her seven months to file for divorce ‘because we had to come to a settlement first.’
‘I think it works a bit different here,’ she explained about the protocol in South Africa, where she lives.
‘If we didn’t come to a settlement first, it could be tied up in court for 10 years,’ she revealed.
It was her manager Joe Reitman who suggested she try OnlyFans in November 2025, on the heels of her breakup.
‘From September to the end of March, at least, it was really, really, really difficult,’ the actress detailed.
‘It was very emotional, and it was just figuring out how to restart everything and kind of just starting from scratch, to be honest. So it was, “Well, now what?”‘

The Texas native’s OnlyFans page offers ‘behind-the-scenes moments, exclusive photos & videos, candid glimpses of my life and chatting with me directly,’ according to its description.
Last month Elizabeth – born Shannon Fadal – said her account amassed four million page views and 300,000 subscribers from 27 posts within days of joining the app.
She said at the time: ‘For me, I’m still kind of exploring. It’s really new for me.’
Elizabeth is not sure how much she’s willing to show her subscribers on the XXX site: ‘I don’t know what I will or won’t show in the future…
‘I never expected this to happen. My fans have been absolutely incredible and supportive and I am so grateful for it!’
And she told Page Six about her million-dollar earnings, ‘It’s not like all of that money is in my pocket.’
‘There’s splits that happen with various representatives and the platform itself. I think I’ll see half of the money before taxes and then I’ll probably only see half of that money,’ she pointed out.
‘It’s not as crazy as it sounds, but it’s still astounding.’
