Plenty of us lose ourselves in work if there’s trouble at home.
And it appears that Nicole Kidman is no exception.
Having brushed off her divorce to Keith Urban, the actress has been in high demand – starring in no fewer than nine film and TV projects in the past 18 months.
This week, she dazzled in a racy Schiaparelli sheer gown at the premiere of Margo’s Got Money Troubles in New York.
Ms Kidman, 58, walked the red carpet with Elle Fanning, her 28-year-old co-star in the comedy which airs on Apple TV next week.
Her appearance seems to suggest she has no plans to slow down in her working life.
In 2024, she starred in the much-talked-about romp fest movie, Babygirl, opposite Harris Dickinson, 30 years her junior, and the animated movie Spellbound.
And last year she landed roles in film Holland, as well as the Netflix sensation The Perfect Couple opposite Liev Schreiber, and in Scarpetta.

The Perfect Couple was Netflix’s sensation, in which Kidman starred opposite Liev Schreiber
She will also star in four upcoming projects: Girls and Their Horses, Discretion, The Young People and Practical Magic Two.
But her success has come at a price – it is widely believed Ms Kidman’s hectic schedule played a major factor in the breakdown of her 19-year marriage to country singer Urban, 58, which was announced in September. Their divorce was finalised in January.
The singer allegedly ‘called out’ Ms Kidman in the presence of friends, and challenged her about how unavailable she had been.
The couple have two daughters – Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15 – who now primarily live with their mother, who was said to be blindsided by the split, in her £2.5million home in Nashville, Tennessee.
But just last month, rumours began circulating that Ms Kidman is now dating her Scarpetta co-star Simon Baker.
The pair was seen holding hands on the red carpet at the show’s premiere in New York – and the actress said that their chemistry ‘just vibrates’.
Meanwhile Baker, 58, who starred in The Devil Wears Prada, insisted: ‘I don’t kiss and tell.’
But Baker’s ex-wife, the actress Rebecca Rigg is reportedly ‘shocked and confused’ by the whispers – because she is a close childhood friend of Ms Kidman.
Meanwhile, Urban is said to be devastated by the alleged rumours, with a close friend of the pair saying: ‘It feels to him like it’s a betrayal because both Nicole and Simon know how much even the hint of a romance between them will hurt him.’
