Kenny Chesney reacted to his song, Out Last Night, going viral because it was involved in a ‘cheating’ scandal.
The country star, 58, posted a telling social media post with his tune after a TikTok user had previously posted a clip, which led to uncovering a story of infidelity.
On Monday evening, Chesney took to his own TikTok account and shared a video of a massive crowd of concertgoers singing along while he performed the same song.
Chesney avoided commenting directly on the scandal but instead choosing to perform the song with a message poking fun at the situation.
‘Heard we went out last night,’ he wrote in his caption while referencing the messy drama that brought new attention to his 2009 track.
Many fans have since likened the situation to Coldplay kiss-cam scandal.

This comes after a TikTok user named Mikala West posted a clip, which has now reached nearly 25 million views at the time of reporting.
In her video, she explained that one of her friends hit it off with someone, a lineman, at a bar in Huntsville, Alabama in late March.
She shared a video of the pair dancing together and later sharing a kiss before adding that she was trying to track down the mystery man for her pal.
‘My friend found her soulmate last night in Huntsville, Alabama after the lineman rodeo,’ she wrote over a TikTok video of the encounter.
‘And we know nothing about him except his name is Mike and his friends kept calling him like the birds in Finding Nemo. (Mike! Mike! Mike!) Help us get Nemo home,’ she continued.
A slew of fellow TikTok users showed their support for the meet-cute story in the comments section — until one person left a comment and said she was Mike’s wife.
‘Hi! I’m Michael’s wife. He’s busy explaining this to our two children right now,’ she wrote.
Chesney originally released the song, Out Last Night, as part of his 2009 Greatest Hits II album.

‘Oh Kenny this is MESSY,’ one TikTok user wrote.
‘How everyone knows about Mike the lineman is next level,’ one fan commented.
Another person added: ‘Cracking up [right now]. You know it’s bad if the artist even posts about it.’
One TikTok user jokingly wrote: ‘Little did Kenny know he was writing the theme song for “Mike the Lineman” back in ’90.’
Several other fans also wrote comments and suggested Chesney invite Laura, the woman claiming to be Mike’s wife, to go to one of his shows.
And another person addressed the virality of the song and wrote to Chesney: ‘I fear you may need to dedicate this song to Mike form here on out.’
