Jackie ‘O’ Henderson’s embattled manager and long-time friend, Gemma O’Neill, purchased a $1million home just weeks before being hit with a $550,000 tax bill after her company collapsed.

O’Neill’s talent management agency, Gemmie Agency, went into voluntary liquidation in November and is now in the hands of administrators.

The firm owes $543,548 to the Australian Taxation Office, with another $3,300 owed to small business Jack Lawrence Accountants and Advisors, reported News.com.au.

On February 20, O’Neill, 42, reportedly informed administrators from Grant Thornton Australia that she couldn’t make any repayment contributions, noting she has no available personal savings, limited income, and had failed to refinance her beachside apartment in Sydney.

However, Daily Mail can now reveal O’Neill also recently purchased a three-bedroom home in NSW’s Southern Highlands for the sweet price of $1.025million.

The newly renovated 1950s cottage sits on over an acre of private park-like grounds, with high ceilings, timber flooring and an original wood-burning fireplace that adds a sense of ‘countryside charm’, according to the real estate listing.

In the February 4 episode of the ‘Her Best Life’ podcast, Jackie O, 51, revealed O’Neill had purchased a country-style cottage ‘down south’ in late 2025.

Property records, seen by Daily Mail, show she purchased the three-bedroom Fitzroy Falls home on October 3 – seven weeks before her talent agency was liquidated – with the sale later settled on December 17.

O’Neill excitedly described the property as looking ‘almost identical’ to a photo she’d posted on her manifestation board earlier that year.

‘I remembered when we did it, I said I would love to have a place in the country… and said something along the lines of, “Although I’m broke now, so I have no idea how I’m going to ever afford this, but anyway, that’s what manifestation is for!”‘ she said.

‘And now we have a little country cottage… It’s like an old, wooden, weatherboard, very modest, very tiny, but it’s got an amazing veggie garden.’

Jackie O added: ‘It is so cute! I went there, I loved it, it’s like the dream.’

O’Neill added: ‘Even at the time, I thought, when I manifested it, I have no money because I’ve just finished doing my house in Sydney and so that’s going to be a dream that I don’t know is ever going to get fulfilled.

‘And it’s so funny because six months later I’ve now got a country cottage – it’s been a combination of things – my house got valued more than I thought, and it was right on my budget and I didn’t have a very big budget, hence why it’s a tiny little place.’

‘I’m realising so much about myself because we spent quite a bit of time there over the break,’ she added.

The duo revealed that Jackie O and her daughter Kitty spent Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve at the cottage.

News of O’Neill’s financial troubles comes after it was revealed her company was put into liquidation four days after she unveiled her renovations on November 21.

Late last year it was reported O’Neill had stepped into the world of Airbnb hosting when she renovated her Clovelly home with the long-term plan to turn it into a flexible vacation home for guests whenever she and the family jetted off on holidays.

Administrators from Grant Thornton Australia said in a creditors’ statement that the debts incurred by O’Neill’s agency were in stark contrast to a seven‑figure commission paid by an unnamed ‘key client’ between October 2023 and March 2024, reported the publication.

On February 20, O’Neill reportedly informed the administrators she couldn’t make any repayment contributions, noting she has no available personal savings, limited income, and had failed to refinance her beachside apartment in Sydney.

That was the same day O’Neill’s star client, Jackie O, fought with her KIIS FM radio partner, Kyle Sandilands, in the infamous argument about her being ‘away with the fairies’, which later saw the duo taken off the airwaves permanently and their $100million contracts torn up.

The Kyle & Jackie O Show was officially axed 11 days later in a dramatic announcement by the radio station’s owner, ARN Media.

O’Neill and Jackie O’s joint venture, Besties Australia Pty Ltd, is also mentioned in the creditors’ report after it was revealed that a loan of $18,143 was made to the event business.

Besties Australia was registered by O’Neill in October 2022 in her role as director/secretary.

However, the report stated O’Neill did not disclose any related‑party loans to the administrators at Grant Thornton Australia.

‘The director (O’Neill) advised that this balance was incorrectly recorded by the Company’s former accountant and the transactions in the loan account were in respect of costs incurred by the Company, and not by Besties Australia,’ the report said.
