Gia Fleur and Scott McCristal’s marriage is at breaking point on MAFS, after Monday’s episode saw her walk out of the experiment after a grilling from his mates.
Now, we can reveal the surprising aftermath of that bitter falling-out – and how Gia really feels about taking the plunge of introducing Scott to her daughter.
To recap the latest drama, upon learning Scott still had photos of his OnlyFans star ex on his phone – a discovery that came just hours after he’d met her child for the first time – Gia issued him an ultimatum: ‘You need to delete those photos, or I’m out.’
After Scott refused, arguing the images were simply ‘memories’, Gia took refuge in her mum’s hotel room to consider where she stood.
On the show, we saw things awkwardly come to a head in front of their friends and family – which is never a good way to hash out drama over an ex.
But what wasn’t shown was the pair’s surprisingly swift reconciliation, which was captured by the Daily Mail.
MAFS couple Gia and Scott had a surprisingly swift reconciliation after she walked out of the experiment, as we spotted them on a family outing in Alexandria, Sydney, with Gia’s daughter
The images suggest that whatever trust issues they were having seemed to be resolved – at least temporarily – at this stage in the MAFS experiment
We pictured Gia and Scott enjoying a family day out with her eight-year-old following their bust-up, suggesting whatever trust issues they were having seemed to be resolved – at least temporarily – at this stage in the experiment.
The trio went to Archie Brothers in Sydney‘s Alexandria, where they played arcade games to celebrate Gia’s daughter’s birthday.
At first glance, it seemed to be a step forward in their relationship after a misstep.
Indeed, a source close to the couple insisted the outing was not staged for a Daily Mail story. ‘They genuinely wanted to spend the day together,’ they said.
But since then, Gia’s feelings towards Scott have clearly changed.
I spoke to her on Tuesday and asked point-blank if Gia regretted introducing Scott to her child. Her answer was unequivocal.
‘Yeah, I definitely regret introducing him,’ she said.
‘For me, I really was serious. I thought, “This is going to be it for us.” But in hindsight, it probably wasn’t the best idea, especially with everything that was happening at that moment [on MAFS].’
Just last week, the couple declared themselves to be the strongest in the experiment – but that was soon followed by a row over a photo of Scott’s OnlyFans star ex
As the Mail revealed earlier this week, Gia had accidentally discovered explicit images of Scott’s former partner Abby Dowse (pictured) on his device via the iPhone ‘memories’ feature

As the Mail revealed yesterday, Scott had only just met Gia’s daughter for the first time when Gia accidentally discovered the photos of his ex-partner on his phone, thanks to the iPhone ‘memories’ feature.
‘It wasn’t about jealousy,’ an insider said. ‘It was the timing. He’d just met her daughter. And then those photos pop up.’
Gia described the timing as ‘disrespectful’ and it left her questioning if Scott was ready for the commitment of stepping into an active role in her daughter’s life.
Gia has repeatedly stated it’s crucial for any man in her life to get on with her daughter.
‘I need to see what he’s like with her,’ she said on Sunday night’s episode.
During my chat with Gia this week, she shed light on how the first meeting with her daughter went sour due to the photo of Scott’s ex popping up unexpectedly.
Tensions reached an all-time high on MAFS on Monday, when Gia stormed out of the experiment after finding a photo of Scott’s ex on his phone
Scott’s refusal to delete the image caused Gia to back her bags and leave the experiment
‘We were literally driving to meet my daughter when the photo thing happened,’ she explained.
‘[It was] on a serious day, I was about to introduce someone for the first time to my daughter, and then these half-naked photos pop up on his iPhone.
‘I’m raising a young girl. I don’t find it appropriate to have those sorts of photos of a woman on your phone. It was a very serious day for me. That’s why it hit so hard.’
She added: ‘It felt confronting. My daughter was in Sydney with my mum because we’d filmed Family and Friends [Week] and she was up for her birthday. So I went and stayed with my daughter [after the argument]. I just thought, “What am I doing? This guy doesn’t even want to delete the photos.”‘
