Fran Drescher shared a rare snap with onscreen mother Renee Taylor as she marked her former co-star’s 93rd birthday this week.

Drescher, 68, and Taylor wowed onscreen as mom-and-daughter duo Fran and Sylvia on the iconic 90s TV series The Nanny.

‘Happy Birthday Renee. You are one in a mil, babe. I love you! You inspired me, you brilliant woman, you! 93 and still kickin’ ass! You go Gurl,’ she wrote alongside a photo of them smiling cheek-to-cheek.

Drescher was dressed in a white shirt and skirt with a colorful floral print, while Taylor wore a rose-colored evening gown covered in sequins as she put on an age-defying display.

She had on a full face of makeup, appearing younger than her years in pink blush and lipstick.

A heap of blonde curls fell around the longtime entertainer’s face.

Fran Drescher took to Instagram on Thursday to wish her onscreen mother Renée Taylor a happy birthday

Drescher, 68, and Taylor, 93, co-starred as mom and daughter duo Fran and Sylvia on the popular 90s TV series The Nanny

The Nanny aired for six seasons between 1993 and 1999.

Taylor took the stage on Wednesday in Palm Springs, California to perform her show Renee Taylor: My Life on a Diet.

Earlier this month she took to Instagram to invite fans to see her live.

‘Hey it’s me, Renee Taylor. A lot of people confuse me with Shakira, but I am performing at the new Plaza Theatre in Palm Springs, CA on March 18th at 7pm,’ she wrote in a caption along with a clip of highlights.

One month prior to the production, she shared a flyer for the event, which had her image printed on it as she held a plated slice of cake.

Taylor said to her followers, ‘Hope I will see all of you beautiful people and please come say hi and celebrate my birthday with me after the show ❤️love, Renee.’

The star earned a Primetime Emmy nomination for Supporting Actress in 1996 for her role as Sylvia Fine on The Nanny.

She’s maintained a close bond with Drescher, and last May shared a photo with the actress and her real-life mother – who inspired Taylor’s role on the show.

‘With Fran and her mother Sylvia and Jack Maxwell @southiejack who came down to FLA to work on our play,’ she captioned the group photo.

The Nanny remains popular with viewers, in part by garnering new fans from the younger generations that weren’t alive or old enough to watch during its original broadcast on CBS.

‘I feel very grateful that the show continues to be so beloved,’ Drescher told Today host Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager in 2020.

‘There are tons of millennials that are obsessed with the show today, and they were either young children while it was originally airing or not even born yet. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.’
