Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton thrilled fans when they were seen on a date at the Super Bowl inside Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday.
But the 41-year-old Formula 1 race car driver, who has known the 45-year-old reality TV star for over a decade, does not seem too keen on talking about their budding romance.
Sky Sports F1 reporter Ted Kravitz has revealed that Hamilton did not want to talk Kardashian on Wednesday when in Bahrain for the first official testing week ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 season.
According to Sky Sports F1’s Kravitz, a question about the SKIMS founder was floated by Hamilton and he did not bite.
Kravitz began: ‘I know what you’re thinking. Kravitz, you chickened out of asking him about his new relationship with Kim Kardashian.’

He added, ‘Well, I can tell you he was asked that in the written press. He was asked “Did you enjoy your company more than the game at the Super Bowl?” And he said, “It’s my private life, I’m not talking about that.” So that’s me told.’
Kravitz then said, ‘I was only going to ask if Kim was going to become a tifosi, like all Ferrari fans, but I chickened out. Quite right. He was never going to give me an answer though, was he?’
While Hamilton is in Bahrain, Kardashian is with Nikki Glaser, Brenda Song and Fortune Feimster filming scenes for the movie The Fifth Wheel in Los Angeles.
Kardashian and Lewis have been friends for many years.
In 2014, they were pictured with their partners at the time, Kanye West and Nicole Scherzinger, at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London.
In 2015, West invited Lewis to spend Easter with their family, with the rapper saying at the time: ‘Lewis Hamilton’s over at my house and we’re playing some music in my studio.
‘We’re having an Easter brunch and all of the family’s there, my wife’s family, my friends, everything. And everybody’s like, “What is this music?” And I’m like, “It’s Lewis Hamilton’s music.”

Lewis later joined Kardashian and her family in the VIP section when West headlined Glastonbury that year.
A year after the show, Hamilton opened up about his connection with West as he told CityAM: ‘I went to see Kanye at his house and he goes, “You know, me and you are very much the same.”‘
West and Kardashian went on to announce their split in 2021 and divorced the following year.
The TV personality has North, 12, Saint, nine, Chicago, seven, and Psalm, six, with her ex-husband.
Lewis has also been close friends with Kim’s sister, Kendall Jenner, for years, while her mother, Kris Jenner, has been seen cheering him on at the Monaco Grand Prix.
Kardashian and Hamilton were also seen at the 2021 Wall Street Journal’s innovator awards, gushing: ‘It’s such an honor to be recognized amongst a group of such remarkable talent.’
He shared a photograph of himself and Kim backstage at the awards on Instagram and wrote: ‘How Kim Kardashian and Kim Jones have come together on Skims, the way Lil Nas X is transforming the music industry, and artist Maya Lin’s groundbreaking approach to her art.’
Kim and Lewis were last seen together after Kate Hudson’s New Year’s Eve party in Aspen.
Lewis has had his fair share of celeb romances, most famously an on-off relationship with Pussycat Dolls star Scherzinger from 2007 until their final split in 2015.
More recently, he was linked to model Ashley Moore in September 2025 and British singer Raye last summer.
On Thursday Daily Mail reported that Kardashian’s ex-husband West is not too comfortable with her new romance with one of his longtime friends.
‘Ye is jealous, yup, it feels weird for him,’ a source told Daily Mail. ‘It is always strange for him to see his ex-wife out with another man.
‘It felt weird with Pete Davidson and now it feels weird with Lewis Hamilton.’
The source said West feels the loss.
‘That used to be Ye’s family, now Lewis is there, it’s hard to see,’ said the source even though West, 48, moved on many years ago when he wed Bianca Censori, 31, in December 2022.
