Fans have been left fuming after attending an Ed Sheeran concert in Brisbane over the weekend, which they said was ruined by bad sound.

Taking their gripe to TikTok, one concertgoer said they had purchased ‘restricted view’ seating for one of three shows by the performer at Suncorp Stadium and had a negative experience – leading to a slew of other fans chiming in and agreeing.

In her post, the fan shared a view of the stage from their seats and claimed that there were no speakers used in that area of the concert space.

‘Do not get restricted view tickets for Ed Sheeran, ‘ TikToker Lainey said in the caption.

She added: ‘The reverberation was insane, and he was completely incomprehensible.’

The disgruntled fan said that all she could hear, once Sheeran kicked off his set, was ‘reverb’.

Taking their gripe to TikTok , one concertgoer said they had purchased ‘restricted view’ seating for one of three shows by the performer at Suncorp Stadium and had a negative experience – leading to a slew of other fans chiming in and agreeing

‘As soon as he started playing, everyone in our area started looking at each other and asking if anyone could understand anything,’ she said in her post.

The TikToker, who has 10,900 followers, said that she left the arena after only a few songs and listened to the rest of the concert in the food hall of the stadium.

Over a hundred TikTok followers responded to the post, including a fan who said that the sound issues during the show were experienced in other parts of the arena.

‘They managed to sort the reverberation out about 20 minutes into Ed Sheeran’s set,’ the fan explained.

‘It appeared the side speaker had been off for all the supporting acts. I’m not sure if this was a technical difficulty.’

Another added: ‘I could hear the reverb from the pit! I complained about it to my friends, honestly, it was so bad.’

‘I think it was a problem with the venue,’ a third concertgoer said.

‘I was front row standing, and when he was talking, I could hear the delay in one of the speakers.’

‘As soon as he started playing, everyone in our area started looking at each other and asking if anyone could understand anything,’ she said in her post

Another concert attendee said that there were PA speakers for that part of the arena.

They explained: ‘[A] friend of mine sat in these seats too. Said the speakers, pointing that way, came on at about 8:30, an hour after he started.’

Daily Mail has approached Sheeran’s promoters, Frontier Touring for comment.

It comes after Sheeran wowed fans with an unannounced performance in Sydney ahead of his shows at Accor Stadium earlier this month.

The 35-year-old hitmaker took the stage alongside Irish group Beoga, as the band did an encore for their own headline show at the local Paddington RSL.

Ed brought down the house as he sang lead on two songs, including the traditional folk tune Wild Mountain Thyme.

The superstar will next play at Marvel Stadium on February 26, 27 and 28.

Ed will then finish up his tour in Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval on March 5, marking over a month of touring across the country.
