Lily Allen all but confirmed an upcoming Australian tour on Saturday, revealing she may be performing Down Under later this year for her new album, West End Girl.
The pop star, 40, was speaking with Triple J radio hosts Tyrone Pynor and Abby Butler when she let the news slip.
Her admission came near the end of the interview, when Abby asked the singer if she was ‘cooking up some plans’ to get back to Australia.
‘I am not at liberty to discuss any specific details, but I will be in that hemisphere before the end of the year,’ Lily replied.
She went on to thank all of her Australian fans for their support and promised they wouldn’t be waiting much longer to see her.
‘Thank you all of Australia for your enduring support over the years,’ she said.

‘It has not gone unnoticed. I’m sorry I haven’t been back in a while, but I will be there relatively soon.’
Lily Allen is set to kick off a tour in the UK in March before moving on to the US in April, meaning she is likely to visit Australia near the end of the year.
She last toured the country in February 2019 as part of her No Shame tour, performing in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
It comes after Lily was recently seen leaving a Paris Fashion Week event with her new love interest Jonah Freud, following a romantic trip to Italy.
The singer, who recently had a very public split from husband David Harbour, has been getting very close to Jonah in recent months.
Her apparent new beau is the son of entrepreneur Matthew Freud and ex-wife Caroline Hutton, and the nephew of celebrated late artist Lucian Freud.
Lily and Jonah have been spotted on multiple dates and recently took things to the next level by jetting to Italy together.
They reportedly stayed in a suite at the Hotel Locarno, thought to cost around £800 (AU$1,579) per night.

At one point, Lily was seen on a coffee date with the writer outside the Sant’ Eustachio Caffè in Rome.
Spotting the pair in Rome, a source told The Sun: ‘We walked past her and it was my daughter-in-law who recognised her and went, “Oh my God, it’s Lily Allen.”
‘We did a double take, and it was definitely her, she was with Jonah Freud.
‘They were just having a coffee and a cigarette together.’
