Jennifer Lopez poked fun at the couple nickname she had with ex Ben Affleck which initially sparked up during their romance in the early 2000s.
The 56-year-old singer – who recently cut a chic figure in stylish selfies – humorously referenced to the ‘Bennifer’ moniker that was a mix of both of their first name when they had dated.
The On The Floor hitmaker – whose divorce from Affleck was finalized one year earlier – appeared in a promo clip ahead of the 2026 Golden Globe Awards with the ceremony’s host Nikki Glaser.
Lopez – who is one of the presenters for the event taking place on Sunday – could be seen strolling into a decorated room during rehearsals. She mouthed words to a voiceover that said, ‘Who are you?’
Glaser could be seen on the stage and asked, ‘I’m Pam. Who are you?’ The voiceover continued as the songstress said, ‘I’m the owner of this house.’
The comedian then penned in the caption: ‘Tomorrow I host the Globes. Jennifer Lopez presents. Finally, we debut our duo: Nennifer’ – a slight change to Bennifer.

In the image, Lopez could be seen flashing a cheerful smile as she shared a laugh with Glaser who stood in the background.
She then added a poll for her fans to take as she further jokingly referenced to the Bennifer nickname.
Lopez opted for her followers to decide which moniker would be better: Nennifer or Jennikki.
Bennifer first became a nickname trend for Lopez and Affleck when they sparked up a relationship in 2002. The pair soon became engaged – but split two years later in 2004.
The stars had taken on roles in the 2004 movie Jersey Girl – and their director Kevin Smith reportedly had been the one to come up with the moniker.
Back in 2021, he opened up about the origin of the nickname in a tweet posted to X at the time when Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance that same year.

But on their second wedding anniversary in August 2024, the actress notably filed for divorce – which was later finalized in January 2025.
Despite the separation, both stars seemingly have remained on good terms – and have taken part in a number of recent reunions.
Late last month in December, Lopez and Affleck had a surprise reunion as they enjoyed a bit of shopping during the holiday season with his son Samuel, 13.

The insider added, ‘They continue to support each other. They’re both proud of what they accomplished together.’
And while having a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, the Gone Girl actor also offered insight into her relationship with his children post-divorce.
‘For the record, Jennifer Lopez is spectacular. Great to my kids, great ongoing relationship with them.’
He continued, ‘I love her kids. They’re wonderful. She’s [an] enormously important, tremendous person of a lot of integrity who I adore and am grateful to.’
