The Traitors viewers say they worked out who the secret Traitor was before it was revealed on Wednesday night’s show.
Fiona Hughes, 62, a local government worker from Swansea, was revealed as the scheming, backstabbing contestant hiding beneath the red cloak after host Claudia Winkleman handed her the role in the first episode.
After the uncloaking in the turret, eagle-eyed fans took to X to say they had spotted the clues which lead them into uncovering the truth.
Viewers noticed the ample screentime Fiona was getting and wrote: ‘Low key disappointed that the secret traitor is Fiona, I feel like the edit made it too obvious’;
‘I’m so happy I was right – Fiona is a perfect Traitor for the show’;
‘I knew it was Fiona. Let me go and submit my application for The Traitors season 5’;

‘Ha! I knew it was Fiona! She’s good. They should have recruited though, makes it harder for the faithful’;
Other viewers said they wish producers had kept Fiona’s identity a secret for longer.
They wrote: ‘Would have liked another week or so of not knowing who the Secret Traitor was, but I am very happy it’s the iconic Fiona!!’;
‘I’m quite disappointed that the “secret Traitor” has been revealed already. I was enjoying them (Fiona) calling the shots!’.
After Hugo Bailey, 51, was banished from the castle, fellow Traitors Stephen Libby, 32, and Rachel Duffy, 42, were stunned by Fiona’s reveal.
She told them: ‘I was wonderful, wasn’t I? Hollywood is beckoning, I can feel it… I have basically done your job for you for the past few nights.’
Speaking about Fiona, Rachel said: ‘Fiona coming in makes me nervous, she is going to ruffle a few feathers,’ while Stephen added, ‘She is playing a very good game.’

Fiona had 2/1 odds to be the contestant in disguise.
A spokesperson for MyBettingSites, said before the unveiling: ‘Fiona’s insistence that she’s deliberately playing dumb around the others only adds fuel to the fire, which is why she has the highest odds of being the Secret Traitor: 2/1.’
Elsewhere in the show, personal trainer Ross Garshong was voted off the show.
But that wasn’t the only shock – just moments after his fellow contestant, psychologist Dr Ellie Buckley revealed another bombshell – that he is her boyfriend.
Ross, 37, was banished following the breakfast meet-up but when the camera panned to an emotional Ms Buckley, she revealed: ‘I’m really sad to see him go, especially because Ross is actually my boyfriend.’
Suspicion about the two knowing each other began the moment they boarded the train in the Scottish Highlands in the first episode, which was screened last Wednesday.
The pair, both from London, were sitting opposite one another and were deemed by viewers as being too familiar for supposedly meeting for the first time.
