Taylor Swift continues to keep spreading ‘kindness’ this holiday season as she gave more ‘generous’ donations in both Nashville and Kansas City.
The 36-year-old singer – who left an Arrowhead Stadium worker in tears after giving them a $600 tip on Christmas Day – offered a donation to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt located in Nashville.
It is not the first act of kindness that the hospital has received from the Grammy winner, who notably opened Seacrest Studios there back in 2016 and has also paid special visits to patients over the years.
‘We are so grateful to Taylor Swift for her generous gifts to Monroe Carell,’ Juan C. Salazar, MD, MPH, chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Vanderbilt Health said in a statement on Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s website.
He expressed that the ‘gifts are so timely’ while adding ‘we are also seeing continued increases in the number of patients and families who turn to us for care. This makes a difference for us all.’
Swift’s generosity was further recognized by Debra Friedman, MD, MS, director of the Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology.

She said, ‘The future of adolescent and young adult cancer research and care is full of progress and possibilities because of the generosity of donors like Taylor Swift.
‘Her gift enables our teams to personalize cancer care for the unique challenges these patients face, leading to improved outcome.’
Back in 2016, the Love Story songstress had been Seacrest’s surprise guest as he opened his studio inside the hospital.
At the time, the radio personality had told People: ‘It was thrilling to have Taylor surprise the patients, which made the day of our first broadcast at Vanderbilt even more special.’
And Swift herself chimed in to add, ‘I just want to say thank you to Ryan for everything that he’s doing to help kids and to really change the hospital experience in the best way possible.’
The performer also donated to Operation Breakthrough in Kansas City ahead of the new year – which also posted the news to its Instagram page on Tuesday.
‘Thank you @taylorswift or supporting Operation Breakthrough. We are so grateful for your kindness and for championing creativity, education, and opportunity for our over 750 students!’
The nonprofit organization ‘provides a safe, loving and educational environment for children in poverty and empowers their families through advocacy, emergency aid and education,’ per the official website.

Swift’s latest acts of kindness come shortly after she gave an Arrowhead Stadium a $600 tip on Christmas Day.
The star had stopped by the venue to cheer on her fiance Travis Kelce as the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Denver Broncos.
Catering attendant Robyn Gentry had been working that day – and revealed her emotional reaction when the singer sweetly gave her a very generous tip in a moving Facebook post.
Gentry also gave more insight into the moment during a conversation with TMZ as she reflected on the recent ‘loss’ of her children’s grandmother.
She told the outlet how the kids’ grandma had always made Christmas ‘magical’ and ‘so wonderful.’
Gentry admitted, ‘Everything is hard now. And so, I just wanted to to be able to give those kids the best Christmas possible.’
She dug into her savings so she could give her children ‘the best Christmas I could possibly give them.’ And then a Christmas miracle happened at Arrowhead Stadium.
In regards to Swift’s $600 tip, Gentry said, ‘She didn’t have to do that. That’s not something that she had to do for anybody.
‘None of us had personally worked for her – had encountered her that evening through the entire game. Like, we weren’t even working for her. She didn’t have to do that for us.’

In regards to Swift’s $600 tip, Gentry said, ‘She didn’t have to do that. That’s not something that she had to do for anybody’; the singer seen at Arrowhead Stadium in January
Gentry added, ‘That’s our job – is to give everybody a wonderful experience at Arrowhead. And so, I’m just glad that we got to experience that together because that was really cool.’
In conclusion, she further expressed her gratitude and said, ‘I hope that she knows from everybody who received something, thank you so much.’
And her Facebook post, which has yet to be verified, has since been widely shared by fans across social media.
According to the post, Gentry was working the holiday game at Arrowhead Stadium when security escorted a small group through the area – including Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, his mother Donna Kelce and Swift.
Gentry recalled that Swift was cheerfully wishing employees a merry Christmas as she moved through the stadium before stopping to personally thank her for working on the holiday.
‘She came toward me and said thank you so much for working on Christmas, please take this – Merry Christmas,’ Gentry claimed, explaining that Swift discreetly placed cash in her hand before moving on with Kelce.
It wasn’t until moments later that Gentry realized just how meaningful the gesture was, as the cash totaled a whopping $600.
‘My whole paycheck for two weeks. I had just dropped that much for Christmas for eight kids,’ she shared, adding that the realization overwhelmed her so deeply that she immediately began crying.

Her incredible tip came the same week news broke that she donated $1 million to charity Feeding America.
The organization made the announcement with an Instagram post on Tuesday with a caption that read: ‘We’re grateful to @taylorswift for standing with families facing hunger.
‘Her generosity reminds us what’s possible when we come together to help ensure full tables this holiday season and beyond.’
This is far from the first time Swift has been recognized for her generosity.
