Stella Klim has broken her silence after her mother Lindy revealed her shock plans to marry her new boyfriend Paul Mullert.
The 19-year-old told Daily Mail at the Melbourne Cup carnival on Tuesday she was surprised to learn about her mum’s wedding plans.
‘I actually didn’t know and neither did any of her friends,’ Stella said.
‘But as long as she’s happy, I’m happy. She deserves it and if this is what she needs to do, she should do it.’
However, Stella did say she believed it would be a while before the couple cement any marriage plans.
Lindy, 46, exclusively told Daily Mail at Melbourne’s Derby Day on Saturday that she was getting married to Paul next year.

The Balinese princess, who debuted her relationship with the medical tech businessman nine months ago, described her fiancé as a ‘normal, beautiful person’ who is ‘full of love’.
Gushing about her beau and his family, Lindy revealed that her kids get along well with his daughter, adding that ‘they hang out a lot’ and ‘love each other’.
However, the model then let slip that she was hoping to walk down the aisle in January next year.
‘We don’t live with each other, but when we get married in January, we might,’ she revealed.
When Daily Mail clarified that she was getting hitched at the beginning of next year, she replied: ‘I reckon, I reckon.’
Lindy debuted her new romance in February at the LIV Golf tournament in Adelaide, just months after her shock split from her second husband Adam Ellis.
The Aussie socialite, who moved back to Melbourne at the beginning of the year after living in Bali, confirmed she is dating Paul.
‘He’s just a normal, nice guy. We’ve been seeing each other for a few months and just taking it slow,’ Lindy said.

‘This is a nice little intro into my world.’
Mullert was born and raised in Perth and was a childhood friend of the late Aussie actor Heath Ledger.
Lindy also revealed the surprising way they met: ‘Paul’s sister lives in Bali and she said you should go on a date with my brother. It’s been amazing back in Melbourne.’
The pair stayed by each other’s side throughout the event and looked thrilled to be in attendance as guests of BYD Cars.
Paul had shared a photo to Instagram from the LIV Golf tournament but did not reference Lindy in his post.
Lindy had earlier soft-launched the romance in an Instagram Stories image in which her new man had his back turned to the camera.
Last year, Daily Mail Australia was the first to reveal a potential marriage breakdown between Lindy and Adam after the celebrity fashionista posted a tell-tale family photo to social media.

Followers were quick to note Ellis’ absence in the photo.
They also noticed the missing large citrine engagement ring on her left hand wedding finger.
‘My family, my world,’ the Fig Femme founder captioned the photo, which include all four of her children, and was taken by local photographer Nicole Riley.
Lindy shares three children with her ex-husband, Australian Olympic swimmer Michael Klim, Stella, 19, Rocco, 17, and Frankie, 14, and one with her second husband, Goldie, seven.
