Jennifer Lopez has unveiled an unexpected new venture: advertising engagement rings.
The 56-year-old actress and singer became the face of the Zen Diamond earlier this month, with several of her advertisements popping up on the brand’s Instagram page.
And now details of Lopez’s deal with Turkish jewelry brand are apparently coming into focus.
The hitmaker — who recently performed at an opulent Indian wedding for a reported $2 million — was paid $10 million to promote the diamond rings and other jewelry, a source alleged to Page Six.
Although that would be a massive payday for most stars, they also claimed that the deal to become Zen Diamond’s global ambassador was for tens of millions of dollars less than Lopez would normally be paid for an ad campaign.
The Daily Mail has contracted representatives for Lopez to request comment but hasn’t yet received a response.

The 56-year-old hitmaker made an odd choice for the job, as she has been married — and divorced — four times, most recently to Ben Affleck (pictured on their wedding day)
A source claimed to Page Six that Lopez was paid a whopping $10M for the campaign, but that’s allegedly considerably less than she usually earns for similar deals
Lopez’s latest campaign isn’t exclusively focused on engagement rings, though they do appear to be a prominent part of the jewelry she displayed in photos for Zen Diamond.
The Hustlers star appeared in several images in a plunging black dress while sporting an opulent engagement ring with multiple small diamonds in leaf-like designs on her right ring finger.
She also wore a strand of diamonds around her throat and framed her elegantly made-up face with diamond-covered semicircular rings.
Lopez was a vision in other photos from the campaign in which she was dressed in a white off-the-shoulder bodycon dress.
She wore an engagement ring with large diamond surrounded by multiple smaller stones, along with a diamond-encrusted bracelet on her right wrist, a necklace decorated with multiple round and heart-shaped stones and dangling earrings.
She sported a frilly necklace made of multiple tiny diamonds in another shot featuring the same outfit.
The hitmaker changed into a light-colored ruched off-the-shoulder dress for other shots from the campaign that were shared on Instagram.

‘She used to close much bigger deals. She used to get paid easily like $20, $30, even $50 million for endorsements. That’s why I was shocked,’ Page Six’s source claimed. ‘That’s low for J.Lo’
They alleged that Lopez is more interested in staying in the public eye than making her usual massive payday
Despite being paid an enormous sum of money for the jewelry campaign, Page Six’s source alleged that Lopez often makes much more for similar efforts.
‘She used to close much bigger deals. She used to get paid easily like $20, $30, even $50 million for endorsements. That’s why I was shocked,’ the source claimed. ‘That’s low for J.Lo.’
But the insider suggested that Lopez was looking for more than just money with the new venture.
‘She wants to stay in the news. She’s chasing her youth,’ the source claimed, adding that Lopez wasn’t hurting for money at all.
‘I think J. Lo is in a phase where she’s doing anything to stay relevant,’ they added.
The source reiterated, ‘She’s not one of those people who is desperate and needs money. She wants people talking about her.’
In a statement to the publication, Zen Diamond chairman Emil Guzelis said, ‘Jennifer Lopez is more than an international icon; she represents power, authenticity and timeless beauty.’
Lopez may be an odd choice for a global ambassador who partly advertises engagement rings, as she has been married — and divorced — four times.
Lopez’s divorce from Ben Affleck was finalized in January, but they put on a friendly display in October at the premiere of their film Kiss Of The Spider Woman, which she stars in and he produced; seen October 6 in NYC
Lopez was previously married to the singer and actor Marc Anthony — with whom she shares her twins Max and Emme — from 2004 to 2014; pictured in 2007 in LA
After her relationship with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs from 1999 to 2001, she married her former backup dancer Cris Judd in September 2001. They had already split by the time she began dating Affleck the first time in 2002, but their divorce wouldn’t be finalized until January 2003; seen in 1999
Lopez’s first marriage was to Cuban waiter Ojani Noa. She has two additional engagement rings, one from her first engagement to Affleck and the other from her engagement to her high school boyfriend David Cruz in the mid-1990s; pictured with Affleck in July 2003 in LA
Throughout those relationship, the Out Of Sight star has collected six engagement rings in total.
She most recently wed her longtime on–off love Ben Affleck in Las Vegas in July 2022, followed by a larger ceremony at his Georgia estate in August of that year.
The two had gotten back together in the spring of 2021, following his divorce from Jennifer Garner years earlier and her split from Alex Rodriguez in early 2021, and the couple got engaged in April of 2022.
But Lopez and Affleck — who had previously gotten engaged in November 2002 before calling off their wedding in January 2004 — were best by rumors of strife, and Lopez filed for divorce on August 20, 2024.
The divorce was finalized on January 6 of this year.

Lopez has an engagement ring from each marriage, as well as a second ring from Affleck from their first unsuccessful engagement.
But the If You Had My Love singer also received a ring from her high school boyfriend David Cruz, to whom she got engaged in the mid-1990s, though they never tied the knot.
