Timothee Chalamet unveiled his dramatic new look during an outing in New York City on Tuesday – and fans have been sent into a frenzy.
The 29-year-old actor – who was recently seen with Kylie Jenner for the first time in two months amid their romance – showed off a bold buzzcut which was partially covered with a cap.
However later in the day, he also took part in an Instagram Live to promote his upcoming film Marty Supreme and fully revealed his shaved head.
Chalamet previously sported dark wavy locks but it is speculated that the latest hairstyle is for Dune: Part Three.
The star was seen filming at a Chinatown restaurant in Manhattan on Tuesday where he gave a glimpse at the buzzcut.
He sported a navy sweatshirt which was paired with denim jeans as well as brown boots and a blue cap.

Chalamet also shared a clip from an Instagram Live to promote his upcoming A24 movie Marty Supreme – which hits theaters on Christmas Day.
The actor initially could be seen sitting inside a clear box with orange ping-pong balls flying around him.
His head was fully covered with a large ping-pong ball and he donned a Marty Supreme tracksuit.
The camera panned away to show extras dressed in all-black with their faces also obscured by ping-pong balls.
The clip jumped back over to Chalamet as he crawled out of the box and removed the orange ball, showing off his shaved head.
He held a serious expression on his face as he put on glasses and walked through an open area outside towards a small building.
Once inside, he sat on a chair and the camera stayed a few feet away as Chalamet wiped off his boots. After moments of silence, the cameraman sped over to the actor who said the name of the movie and the date the film hits theaters.
Fans have since flocked over to X to share their thoughts on his new haircut, with one penning, ‘Almost doesn’t look like him.’

The beauty mogul covered her face with her hand as the couple made their way into the venue.

Jenner also supported her boyfriend earlier in the evening as Marty Supreme had its premiere at the New York Film Festival.
The sports comedy drama will hit theaters later this year on Christmas Day and shows Chalamet taking on the role of a table tennis player named Marty Mauser.
The premise is: ‘Marty Mauser, a young man with a dream no one respects, goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness,’ per IMDB.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published on Tuesday, Chalamet reflected on learning table tennis – which he began taking lessons for in 2018.
When filming on location for projects such as Wonka and Dune: Part Two, the actor explained he had a table with him so he could practice.
In regards to playing Marty, the star explained, ‘In spirit, this is the most who I was that I’ve had to play a role. This is who I was before I had a career.’

‘It was pursuing projects that were untraditional at first – at the time, it was kind of radical, the choices I was making when I was 20.’
Chalamet continued, ‘In a sense, the story of Marty Mauser is really comparative. And so I was deeply moved by it.’
