Nicole Kidman is keeping busy after announcing her split from Keith Urban.
And according to relationship expert Susie Kim, her jam-packed schedule is actually a healthy coping mechanism.
The Aussie actress made headlines this month as she attended Paris Fashion Week alongside her daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith, 14, while simultaneously stepping out as Chanel’s latest brand ambassador.
Kidman also recently shared pictures to her Instagram modelling for Vogue and Clé de Peau Beauté, a skincare brand she represents.
Kim says that the 58-year-old’s busy itinerary over the past few weeks is actually a positive way of healing in the wake of her marriage break-up.
‘I think it really helps to keep busy and reconnect with or keep engaged with all of the things that you love,’ Kim told nine.com.au, highlighting that fashion, beauty and family are all things that Kidman is passionate about.

‘Usually during the break-up, you’ve invested less time in some of the things that you’ve loved, or maybe you’ve lost contact with some of your friends,’ she added.
This is why she says it’s a good time to keep busy doing the things that make her happy.
‘Get back into your really healthy routines, like exercise and seeing your friends and family,’ she added, encouraging Kidman to ‘reinvigorate’ her interests and hobbies and potentially discover new ones.
Kidman and Urban’s breakup after 19 years of marriage shocked fans earlier this month.
And the Oscar-winning actress had been dreading the public’s response for months, according to reports.
‘She’s been stressed because she knew the separation would eventually become public and she was dreading it,’ a source told People.
‘But she’s surprisingly level-headed and calm. Now that it’s out she’s just focused on what’s ahead and her girls,’ the insider said of the couple’s daughters.
The actress and musician’s separation was confirmed by Daily Mail after Kidman filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.

Their marriage began to fall apart at the beginning of summer 2025.
The split was reportedly a long-term development, stemming from months of quiet separation and diverging paths due to work commitments, according to Daily Mail sources.
Kidman has requested to be the primary residential parent in the custody arrangement.
The pair met at the G’Day LA gala ball in January 2005.
In a 2013 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Babygirl star confessed it wasn’t until four months after they met that Keith asked her out.
She recalled: ‘I’m like, “You didn’t love me at first sight, you didn’t notice me,” and he’s like, “Yes, I did but I just didn’t let on,” but we kind of met and then about four months later he called me.’
On the Australian talk show Interview in 2018, Urban admitted he had to muster the confidence to call the movie star.
‘I’d never have thought she’d see anything in a guy like me. But at some point I plucked up the courage to call those numbers, and she answered,’ he said.
‘We started talking, and we talked and talked and talked and talked, and it was effortless,’ the singer added.
Kidman and Urban tied the knot in 2006 during a traditional Catholic ceremony at the Cardinal Cerretti Chapel in Sydney, Australia.
