Mark Wahlberg seems to be doubling down on his plans to leave California for a more hospitable state.

The 54-year-old actor has now purchased a stunning mansion in the gated community of Stone Creek Ranch, located in Delray Beach, Florida, according to Realtor.com.

Wahlberg’s new home, which he shelled an an astounding $37 million for, is part of an exclusive stretch of ultra-luxurious homes in the area that has come to be known as ‘Billionaires Row.’

The Boogie Nights star — who was represented in the sale by Compass’ Michael Costello — had announced his plans to move his family out of Southern California in favor of Las Vegas in late 2022, but the move appeared not to have stuck after he sold his $16.6 million townhouse in September 2023.

However, he seems to have committed to steering clear of Hollywood with the latest move to Florida.

Wahlberg reportedly purchased his new mansion, dubbed the Palazzo di Lago, from spec developer Aldo Stark.

The mansion, which was built in 2017 and designed with classic Italian style in mind, features an eye-popping 17,800 square feet of space spread across a 2.7-acre lot.

Wahlberg ended up paying $11 million more than Stark paid when he purchased the mansion in January of this year.

The developer reportedly put the home through a speedy overhaul, as he had listed in just two months later for $45 million, with Senada Adžem of Douglas Elliman handling the listing.

According to real estate records seen by the publication, Wahlberg managed to purchase the home at a hefty discount for $37 million, which conveniently included a completely furnished interior.

In addition to the main mansion, the property includes a nearby guest house and a swimming pool, which increases its total space to an impressive 18,206 square feet.

Aerial photos obtained by the Daily Mail show that the property is right on the waterfront — a 17,000 gallon saltwater lagoon — but it has rows of dense trees to provide privacy from the street and the neighboring properties.

The listing reportedly boasted that ‘Privacy, security, and exclusivity remain the primary reasons why billionaires and global icons continue to choose Stone Creek Ranch, a haven where world-class design meets complete discretion.’

Wahlberg and his wife Rhea Durham, 47, will have plenty of room for their four children — Ella, 22; Michael, 19; Brendan, 17; and Grace, 15 — thanks to their new mansion’s seven bedrooms, along with its 10 bathrooms and two powder rooms.

The mansion includes a bevy of amenities, including a home theater, a sauna, a wine cellar and even a cigar lounge.

Wahlberg, who has previously appeared at pricy events for cigar aficionados, can light up without worrying about stinking up the rest of his new abode, as the cigar lounge features a high-powered air filtration system.

Wahlberg, who regularly shares his extraordinary daily workout routine on social media, will also have a home gym to help stay in tip-top shape, as well as a massage room.

Included on the grounds is a tennis court, which the home opens on to.

There’s also a seven-car garage for their fleet of vehicles, and there’s even more room for parking on the long, looping driveway for when they’re entertaining guests.

The mansion’s listing praised Wahlberg’s new home as an ‘architectural masterpiece and a rarefied offering that embodies the pinnacle of luxury living in South Florida.’

‘This Italian contemporary estate is one of the most distinguished and impeccably executed residential compounds in the United States,’ it boasted, adding the the home was ‘inspired by the tranquil glamour of Lake Como and infused with the seductive allure of Bond’s Casino Royale.’

The listing added that the mansion was ‘an ode to elegance, privacy, and security.’

Wahlberg bought the mansion from spec developer Aldo Stark, who purchased it in January for $26M, then listed it in March after renovations for a staggering $45M, before ultimately selling to Wahlberg for $37M; pictured in February 2024 in LA

In order to bring the ‘Italian contemporary’ style to life, Wahlberg’s mansion was outfitted with crystal chandeliers throughout to give it an ‘ethereal glow’ from end to end.

The kitchen area features dual gray marble islands ideal for entertaining or grazing on hors d’ouevres.

The dining room features shimmering dark wood and marble, while an outdoor bar area is decorated with more eye-catching marble.

Since selling off his Nevada townhouse, Wahlberg has said he intends to build a more opulent home in the state for his family, though it’s unclear if his pricy Florida acquisition will have an impact on those plans.

Wahlberg has previously lobbied Nevada lawmakers to pass a tax incentive bill in hopes of luring film studios to take root in the state, further threatening Hollywood’s dominance in the industry.
