Justin Bieber made a surprise career pivot on Wednesday just weeks after nabbing a record-breaking $10 million headlining Coachella gig.
The Grammy-winning pop star, 31, is now officially a streamer after launching his first-ever livestream on Twitch.
Fans of the Baby hitmaker flocked to his Twitch channel in the thousands after he announced via Instagram he would be streaming live on the platform.
Bieber’s stream was filmed on an a massive soundstage with an indoor basketball court, a golf course, a skateboard half-pipe and a large pool table.
The sprawling space was illuminated by a massive LED screen, which had a large array of musical instruments setup in front of it as well as several couches and tables.
Bieber’s inaugural stream kicked off with him playing a game of basketball with his friends.

The singer moved across the court in a baggy white T-shirt, red sweatpants and sneakers.
There were frequent lulls in the action, with Bieber pausing the game to scroll through his iPhone or communicate one-on-one with a member of his team.
The game went on for over 35 minutes before Bieber called it quits and moved to a nearby pool table, where he challenged several of his friends to a match.
Bieber rarely addressed the audience tuning in from home.
It wasn’t until the last 15 minutes of the over hour-long stream when Bieber decided to grab a handheld camera and give fans a tour of the soundstage.
He frequently turned the camera on himself as he moved from the pool table to the ‘behind-the-scenes’ area where his team was busy managing the stream.
Bieber eventually set the camera down so he could grab a skateboard and play around on the half-pipe.
He closed out the livestream with a competitive game of ping pong.

At one point, Bieber stripped off his shirt, revealing his large collection of arm and torso tattoos.
‘I’m gonna cut the stream,’ said Bieber as he exited the frame with his ping pong paddle in hand.
After 15 years of being in the entertainment business as an A-list singer, Bieber’s venture into streaming may come as a surprise to some of his fans.
But those who follow him closely on Instagram know that he’s become extremely active on social media since the birth of his and wife Hailey Bieber’s son Jack Blues, one, last year.
It’s unclear what Bieber plans to do with his streaming channel or how frequent his streams will be moving forward.
His Twitch channel launch comes nearly one month after it was confirmed that he will be headlining Coachella 2026.
After Bieber booked the gig, sources confirmed to Rolling Stone that he secured a record-breaking paycheck of more than $10 million to do the festival.
The two-weekend deal not only makes him the highest-paid performer in the event’s history, over performers like Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Kanye West and The Weeknd.

Unlike most headliners who rely on powerhouse agencies to broker deals, Bieber negotiated directly with Goldenvoice, the festival’s promoter.
‘It’s a groundbreaking move for a headliner, and it’s something he built entirely on his own,’ a source close to the singer told the outlet. ‘Between headlining Coachella and the success of Swag, it’s clear this is the start of an exciting new era for Justin — one where he’s fully in the driver’s seat.’
Once tickets for the 2026 festival went on sale, both weekends almost immediately sold out.
According to those close to Bieber, the singer is preparing something far beyond a standard festival set.
‘Bieber is an unshakeable artist who has stood up against the grain and fought for his independence,’ the source added. ‘His 2026 Coachella performance won’t just be a headlining set, but a once-in-a-generation spectacle from a once-in-a-generation pop icon.’
News of Bieber’s Coachella gig came directly on the heels of the success of his latest album, SWAG, which was released in July.
The album marked a major musical comeback for Bieber who was forced to cancel a world tour in 2022 after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused partial facial paralysis.
In the years that followed, Bieber mostly stayed out of the spotlight but concern for his well-being grew in 2024 due to his erratic behavior on social media.

Bieber is married to Rhode skincare founder Hailey Bieber, with whom he shares one-year-old son Jack Blues
Amid the concern, Bieber became a first time father and his marriage to Hailey faced constant scrutiny.
While he did admit to Hailey marriage struggles on his new album, the singer mostly assured fans that he and his wife’s relationship is stronger than ever.
The couple wed back in 2018 just months after rekindling their romance.
Their nuptials also came shortly after Bieber’s split from Selena Gomez, 33.
