Lingerie entrepreneur Eloise Monaghan – the co–founder of the Australian lingerie empire Honey Birdette – and her designer wife Rebecca Collinson-Smith have welcomed their first child together.

Eloise announced the joyous news via Instagram on Wednesday, sharing a photo of Rebecca cradling their tiny girl shortly after giving birth.

In her caption, the businesswoman revealed the arrival came with a twist – she and Rebecca were expecting a boy.

‘Well, I hope she likes blue!!! That was a surprise,’ she wrote, before revealing the infant’s very unique name.

‘Meet our new little cowgirl! Texas,’ she announced.

Well-wishes poured in, with many celebrities commenting on the heartwarming post.

‘Yay!!!! Congratulations! What a gorgeous name, can’t wait to meet you Texas!!’ Beau Ryan’s wife Kara commented, adding: ‘Enjoy the love endorphins mummas’.

TV personality Baz Dubois, meanwhile, wrote: ‘So beautiful, sending love’.

The couple announced Rebecca’s pregnancy in June, with Eloise sharing a photo of the brunette posing with her bump on display in a bikini.

She famously sold Honey Birdette to US company PLBY Group (the parent company of Playboy) in mid–2021 in a deal valued at approximately $443 million.

The 49-year-old stayed on as creative director for the brand after selling it, but within eight months things fell apart.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia last year, Eloise admitted she was ‘devastated’ by the downfall of her former brand.

‘It has been devastating to watch,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.

‘I built the brand off female empowerment – we weren’t about fake boobs and fake arses – that’s all it is now.’

Eloise said she had ‘walked into an industry that wasn’t ready for female apparel or anything ridiculously empowering’.

‘It felt like I was wearing a muzzle – so I just quit,’ she said.

Following her departure, Eloise quietly divorced her ex–wife Natalie and fell in love with Rebecca.

The pair have since joined forces in business, expanding Rebecca’s swim and resort brand Hunting Hue to the US market.
